Okay so we're getting out of school early and it's making me pretty happy. It's gonna storm though so that makes things less fun. I'm probably gonna go home and sleep or something.

tuesday

Tuesday is always worse than Monday for me. It's super boring today, though I'm in a good mood for some reason. I want to go home though because I don't have sweatpants for P.E. and my shirt s dumb :-)

my weekend bro

I went to movies with Nikki and  her family and we saw Rango. That movie is seriously the greatest. Not to give anything away, but I loved when they referenced Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. After we watched that movie we went to eat at fantails and that was great too. Her brother Chase ate like four bowls of pudding and it was gross to watch but incredibly funny. After we left there we went to Larry Pucket Chevorlet and found a cat. We didn't know at the time, but we were going to get to keep it. I laughed almost all the way home because there was a stolen cat in my lap. It was awesome. When we got home, nikki spent the night and we watched movies and painted our nails. If this weekend hadn't have been so awesome then it would have sucked for all the other stuff.

PROM

If I had prom my way, I'd make it a Mexican Fiesta theme. Girls would wear traditional mexican dresses and the boys would wear Ponchos as jackets over more traditional formal attire from Mexico or Spain. For the bevrages, we'd have Juarritos, A Mexican soft drink that has flavors such as fruit punch, grapefruit, guava, and mango. For food we'll have nachos (complete with salsa and cheese dip), and sopa pillas for a sweet snack. The decorative colors will be the national colors of Mexico and Spain; red, green, and white. I will have some theme music from Mexico, and five other songs I will have are Besitos, Kissing ins Cars, and Bullletproof Love by Pierce the Veil; Vegas Skies by The Cab, and You'd be the Anchor that Keeps My  Feet On the Ground, I'll Be the Wings that Keep your Heart in the Clouds by Mayday Parade. And jsut for kicks and giggles, you can't come unless you ride in on a donkey.

Why I hate Mondays.

There are all kinds of cliche reasons why people hate Mondays, but for me it's just one main thing. I hate Mondays because it's right after the weekend. I'm usually really sleepy, and I want just one more day to sleep in, but I can't because there's school the next day. It's also realyl disappointing when you've spent the whole day thinking it was Saturday and come to find out, it's Sunday and you have to go to bed early.

Spring Break

I can't wait until spring break this year. Technically it isn't our spring break, it's Pratville's in March, but I still count it. We've made a tradition of going to Panama City Beach during breaks with my mom's friend, her son and daughter, and their friends. They're some of my closest friends now and every time we go we have fun. This time, I feel like, will be better than the last few times.

Arizona Shootings

I think Jared Lee Loughner was smiling in that mugshot because he didn't feel any actual remorse for what he did. He might have said he was sorry, but people say things they don't mean and I definitely wouldn't put lying past someone who shot 19 people and killed one little girl. To see that he was smiling in his mugshot gave me an eerie feeling and it didn't sit well with me. I do think the death penalty should be enforced in this situation. In my opinion, I won't be comfortable knowing he's still alive.
