Arizona Shootings

I think Jared Lee Loughner was smiling in that mugshot because he didn't feel any actual remorse for what he did. He might have said he was sorry, but people say things they don't mean and I definitely wouldn't put lying past someone who shot 19 people and killed one little girl. To see that he was smiling in his mugshot gave me an eerie feeling and it didn't sit well with me. I do think the death penalty should be enforced in this situation. In my opinion, I won't be comfortable knowing he's still alive.
